My wife grew up with a father who was an auto mechanic, so she knows a good bit. In fact a couple of years back she even went as far as to change the radiator in her car, with her Dad's supervision, while I was out of town.
As for mechanical stuff, and women in general, I had a customer's backhoe break down last winter in a Hooters parking lot. (((9He was scraping snow off the lot after a major storm came through)))). When I got done repairing it I went in to ask the manager where he wanted it parked so it was out of the way. When I told the girls at the door I needed to see the manager to find out where to put the backhoe now that I was done working on it. It was funny because they both gave me that "duh what" stare, and asked me, 'where I needed to put what?'. When I explained it again, you could see the light go on for one of them and she said, 'OH, that tractor thingy...". It was all I could do to keep from dying laughing, but I just confirmed her thoughts and said, 'Yeah, that tractor thingy'.......

After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
