Not sure I follow your logic. The venerable CDC put a dog in quarantine, therefore it must be able to get Ebola? My memory has it that they stated they did not know if it could get the disease. It was going to be put down just to be safe. Feelings ran high that the poor human victim should not have to deal with the possibility that she was responsible for the death of her dog. Apparently it does not matter that she exposed a couple hundred humans from Texas to Ohio and back. I am not a panic monger, but i DO think we need to quarantine the victims AND the caregivers for a safe amount of time. Letting this idgit walk out of an Ebola sickroom and get on an aircraft is really irresponsible.
