That's the dilemma, just makes it worse when in some obscure area ones place and you have to tow it in. The noise made itself known sometime this year, I've tried to make shifting quick, was only doing this when its disengaged, though now I seem to hear something when its engaged and running stationary. No way to grease these, so I suppose after 12 years of moderate to heavy work at times, sooner or later its going to happen, just when.....
Well its time for a change anyway, I've done I could with it all these years, owes me nothing, single clutch, can't be too bad to replace, just the logistics of doing so, time for an engine hoist, some hardwood cribbing/blocking, clear out the garage bay... keep an eye out for a nicer tractor.
