I have an idea. Go to the next state over, wearing a fake Groucho Marks nose and glasses, and buy one under a fake name, but leave it at the store and tell them that you will be back for it. Then drive over to the police station and show them the receipt and report it stolen, still wearing the fake Groucho Marks nose and glasses, fill out the report and leave. Still with me? Now, go back to the store and pick it up and drive it back to your state. Now...on Monday, write the name of the not enough evidence current suspect on it, and from a parking lot around the corner, fly it through the window of the state's attorney's office, and then just drive off. Oh, one more thing. When you do that? I would be wearing the fake Groucho Marks nose and glasses just so no one knows that its you. If I were a lawyer, I'd charge you for this advice, but since I'm not...I won't.
