I've had 'em for years. It's a genetic thing in our family (grandfather, me, my youngest son and daughter). No one knows the pain they can bring unless they have experienced it. I've had them "blasted" on two occasions. I asked the doctor, "What would have happened to me if this happened 100 years ago and I was unable to pass the stone?" He says,"Oh, you would have lain around in agony. Became infected. And in about 30 days, died a very painful death." Whew! Hate the stones but glad it's now and not then.

Today's Featured Article - Show Coverage: Journey to Ankeny - by Cindy Ladage. We left Illinois on the first day of July and headed north and west for Ankeny, Iowa.
