That is a good model of tractor but it is a row crop with a narrow front end but could be equiped with either a single front wheel or adjustable wide front. It should handle most but probably not all implements you have for your 30. Would have the same cat 1 hitch but anything that mounts under axle or frame mounted would not work. May have a problem with your current plow as the wheel track being a higher tractor should be a couple of inches wider. And if gas Ford called it a 48 HP tractor, Desiel is stay away from according to this site and only about 40 HP. The 961 is 5 speed tranny with live power take off. The type you push clutch half way down stops tractor movement but PTO keeps on running, clutch all way down all stops. I think I would like that better than the independant type that is on newer tractors and what I had that if you had to stop movement and PTO at same time you had to grab a lever as well as hit the clutch. Tractor data at 62 is not for that tractor and no 4 cylinder untill the 5000 had that much power. The 961 is newer than the 960 and has about 4 more HP. but otherwise same. Was later called a 4000 and still the same 4 cylinder engine in grey and blue tractor. Last built as a 64 model, The 4000 in 65 became a blue 3 cylinder tractor. Would love to have a 961 myself. Others on here will say it is $1,800 too high but different areas values differ. I think in my area that would be decent if all including tires were good.

But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out. After numerous dead ends for a replacement carb, I went to work fixing mine.I soldered new floats on the float arm, they came from an old motorcycle carb, replaced the packing on the throttle shaft with o-rings, cut new ga
