Origonally designed for the Nuffield Organization by Harry Ferguson tractor Research, There is a bit of info on them at the Nuffield/Leyand cub website. We had one, it was used for granular aplication and inter row work, the early Nuffield mini had the BMC 'A' series engine,the 154 is a later development, ours was a Diesel and we were told it was the same engine as used in the London Black Taxis http://www.thenuffieldandleylandtractorclub.co.uk/wp/about/
