Wow... You guys are either doing pretty good or I'm getting ripped. I have a couple small pieces down in SE Illinois that I bought a few years back. One piece is 40 acres with 16 tillable that I do a cost share with a local guy. His share is 60% and mine 40% of the profits. He does all the work, planting, harvesting etc.. We split the chemical costs the same way. 60/40. The other piece is 22 acres. I have 20 in crp and the other 2 are tillable that another local guy gives me $90 per acre to farm that is attached to his piece. Am I being gullible at these prices or should I look into it more and make some adjustments?
