Summer project was stumps/rocks in quarter mile fence line- by 9 tonite have about 2 loads rock to pick...next spring is soon enough. But first snow and frozen ground usually give way to a thaw before final freeze-up. In 41 years, earliest freeze-up was Nov 7, one year it froze once and stayed frozen. Otherwise, always a freeze/thaw/freeze.
Renter has a bit of corn to finish, waiting for combine repairs.
