Good morning Guys. For many years my wife and I watched the deer in our hay field. 200 yards from kitchen window We have counted as many 25 at any one time. But over the year or so we have noticed that in the number of deer has been get smaller and smaller. I am thinking that because of the CWD chronic waste disease that we had here in southern and centurial Iowa last year if this could be the cause. It was reported that on one of the rivers that is just north of me It is called the middle river the DNR found 26 dead dear on that river and many more were found around farm ponds and A few lakes. We have seen a few small deer that were yearlings And not enough meat on them to fill a coffee. So you Guys here in Iowa what is your thought on this. ALSO; nothing has changed on what they can eat . I have a 55 acres of corn to the north of me across the road and a 60a of beans north east 100 ac or corn east of me 35 ac, beans to the west and to the south a real large 100 ac, of corn, 4 ponds And a creak so lack food supply is not the problem. SO WHAT DO YOU THINK THE PROBLEM IS MANY THANKS jr frye88
