Hi as guys have said watch the empty weight of goose neck trailer. My buddy had a trailer up here in Canada, was a lighter strong built trailer 14,000 gross. His neighbor had I believe a PJ 5 ft longer but same things for ramps on it. That stupid thing was way heavier for the weight per foot of trailer. it was pretty well 2 small bags of sugar, and a chain and binder to hold the load on, and it was over weight. from what my buddy said when he borrowed it one day to move something a little bigger, than he wanted on his trailer for it's build. he could haul more weight legally on his with the lighter build. I'm hearing the same from quite a few guys. These modern trailers are way to heavy, and you can't haul enough on them for the size. I have heard guys say if your on non commercial use and doing the odd runs. Buy a Kaufman, it's a lighter cheaper trailer, but if >you abuse it with big loads and a lot of high miles a week you won't like it!. I was going tolook at one, but the laws are getting so strict here with licences and DOT I quit towing tractors in the end. Regards Robert

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion.
