Vicon/ Kverneland is pretty much hay tools excluding small square balers, sickle-type mower conditioners, and side delivery rakes. Vicon did have three point fertilizer spreaders but may not any more. Kverneland was entering the planting market a few years ago with air seeding and row crop planters. They had some financial difficulty which forced the sale of bale wrappers, certain round balers, and large square balers to Kuhn. Kverneland also had rotary harrows which I believe they retained. In addition they have the CTC "one pass" tillage tool which they demo at the farm shows. I believe for North America (I have no inside knowledge) that it will be pretty much hay tools and broadcast spreaders with research ongoing for planting. To maintain market access I would guess they will maintain the Kverneland name for plows and continue marketing in North America via Cummins and Bricker which is in Western New York. Kverneland had offices in Quebec for Canada but Kubota may opt to eliminate that as it should be redundant for every place other than Quebec. The French Canadians may get indignant over that but it might be worth the risk given the new inefficiency. At this point in time Vicon/ Kverneland does have wrappers available via another acquisition.
