: I was browsing the web the other day and found the strangest picture of a tractor I've ever seen. It was a Farmall C (maybe Super C) but get this........It had standard tread front wheels! I have never seen anything like this! Is this for real, or did the guy somehow craft on the front end of, say, an A? I also saw, on that same page, a C with a single front wheel. The single front wheel is not that far out of the ordinary, but it's the first ive seen! As soon as I find the address of the website again, I'll post it. Its not so unusual at all for farmalls to have wide fronts. I'm guessing that you're not from potato country. Narrow fronts aren't so great for potatos, I've never seen one that didn't mess up the hills. Either they mess up the hills or you have to put the rows really far apart, which messes up everything else. Here in Maine, and in northern Maine in particular, it's rare to find a narrow front machine. You might have a look at my Farmall site, I have a picture of a wide from F-20. falcon.fsc.edu/~craymond/tractor5.html
