Some differences in farm auctions and hunting 1)Farm auctions draw a better class group of people than the population at large,most farm folks understand respecting other's property and these days they are an older crowd.2)Auctions usually have some type of security people around whether you realize it or not and you won't unless you do something wrong.3)Hunting,hiking etc when people are basically alone puts them in a situation to do things sight unseen they wouldn't do in front of a crowd.I've had a few people come to my farm to hunt that I've known for awhile that I found out by they way they acted here that they had bad character flaws I'd never seen before.But yea there are many really good people that hunt that respect the landowners and their property.Just like everything else you have to separate the chaff from the grain but after awhile it gets to be a pain which is why there are many farms closed to hunting.
