When a company like McDonalds gets in to raising beef that is where some of the scare tactics come out to the public as it gives people a look into mass production of beef (if you can call it beef lol) that they wouldn't normally see as it isn't the same as a farm is. I agree some programs are used to scare a person to believing a certain view point, but the way mass production is by corporations now days and in the future cannot be good for the food we eat, like dumping it in a chemical bath to kill bacteria, mainly in the poultry industry. That has been done for years but I remember a few years ago companies were going to be allowed to "up" production lines from 140 to 170 units per minute so more chemicals would be used to kill bacteria. Ive never thought of dipping my chicken in Clorox before I eat it lol.
