Hope this isn't limited to the last 15 years, but going way back, early 20's, hanging with all the wrong people, wrong places...
Sitting in a Jacksboro Highway bar one night, a notorious bad section of road in north Texas, a little blue collar dive where very rarely a stranger dared venture in...
A man comes in, didn't appear to be drunk, making the rounds trying to start trouble with anyone who would accept his challenge.
One of my high school buddies was in there with his big brother who happened to be a member of the Banditos MC gang. I never saw him start any trouble but had heard stories about him, best to stay on his good side...
The stranger makes his way around to the Bandito, a very stupid move! He just stood up, put the fool in a head lock, used his head to very suddenly open the front door, carried him to the parking lot and threw him down, walked back inside.
Next thing, the whole glass front wall (painted over glass storefront) comes crashing down! He's firing through the glass with a simi automatic rifle, no telling how many rounds he got off before squealing down the highway out of sight.
Happened so fast, no chance to take cover. Just by the grace of God no one was hit, just some scratches from the glass. I didn't get anything but scared!
