Hello again fellas and gals!
Hope everyone is doing well. I don't get to stop in and visit as much as I used to due to being self-employed. Always gotta go where the work is.
Nonetheless, just wanted to drop by and wish y'all a blessed Thanksgiving. Life deals us all many difficult situations as we grow older. Many of you have encouraged me when I lost my younger brother and my Mom. Many sent prayers for my Dad when I asked over the years & again this summer.
While I was so blessed to have my dad for so long, I am so sad he is gone - lost him mid-Sept to the final round of the cancer fight.
Dad you were the best man I knew and your character influenced me to cultivate the kind of friendships I have here on YTMAG and personally. Missing you a great deal this Thanksgiving, the 1st without you.
For those that still have your folks keep them close and let them know they are loved. For those that don't I now stand on that side of the divide and understand greater than ever their importance.
For everyone here on this Thanksgiving Give thanks for each new morning with its light, Give thanks for rest and shelter of the night, Give thanks for health & food, for love & friends, Also remember our troops who are not home for holidays, Give thanks daily for everything Thy goodness sends. ~butchered Ralph Waldo Emerson

After numerous dead ends for a replacement carb, I went to work fixing mine.I soldered new floats on the float arm, they came from an old motorcycle carb, replaced the packing on the throttle shaft with o-rings, cut new ga
