We had to unplan Thanksgiving- In Sept I was scheduled for a heart ablation to be done yesterday at the MPLS VA, and would be in the hospital yet today. So we told family we wouldn"t be around, and they made plans with their in-laws.
Recently got a call that I was bumped til Jan 22, since another Vet was more urgent. I told the nurse I was expecting to get another hip replaced this winter, after ablation, and that would push it into planting season. She said I could plant my "garden" in May/June! That"s when I blew up. I plant fields, not gardens!
So we planned a quiet day today, but last night our youngest son invited us to join them and his in-laws. Loooong trip- half a mile.
