Well your way over the local market here in North-eastern Iowa. I was at a sale to day with a IH 1086 6000 hours, fresh engine overhaul, new TA and great cab and working AC. I was the top bid of $7500. The owner did not sell as he wanted $10,500.
Your 1066 with that TERRIBLE cab, even with only 3800 hours, will be hard to sell for $8500-9000, in today's market. I am not running your tractor down but the market for older tractors is taking a hit right now with the IH ones getting it worse than the JD ones in my area.
A real clean JD 4430 will bring $12-15 if real sharp. Your IH 1066 would bring more here without the cab. The top price I have seen in the last six months is $8500 on a IH 1066. It had NEW radial tires that where worth $4000, Michelin 20.8 x 38.
