Great pictures. We rented a pickup camper and went to Vancouver Island when I was about 16 early 1960's). Camped at a campground on Saanich Inlet. I remember it was the clearest seawater I had seen. Mom had always wanted to go to high tea at the Empress, so we did- Dad and I had to wear suits and ties. I remember changing in the camper with dad and him warning me not to make any smart aleck remarks that would ruin it for Mom. We both feigned enjoyment, and it was very nice (the crumpets were highly overrated). Also went to Butchart Gardens, which looks even nicer now.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
