I ran a combine like this one during my last two years on the harvest and they aren't hard to run at all. The visibility out of the cab is well thought out and the controls aren't all that hard to run once you learn how to 'walk and chew gum' at the same time. When the smallest electronic control acts up, you're on the sidelines. That was when I wished I had my old 105 again.
When I had a 15 foot head years ago I didn't see how I could ever keep track of a big 20' head on that combine. Had a 20 footer for one year, then got to going on the harvest where I ran a 30' head for 8 years or so. There's no header control in wheat so it took some learnin. It's just a constant progression. I do know there are bigger heads than a 40 but I don't know where the upper limit is now. I'm kind of out of touch now that I'm not involved with working on or around them anymore.
