When folks come here (N central Ark) to visit, I try to take them to unique places. Graceland in Memphis is unique, Branson, MO is usually fun, and Blanchard Springs caverns is one of a kind. Like glennster said, the diamond mine is the only one in the world that's finders-keepers. If you got money to burn, a guided trout trip on the White River around Cotter, AR is quite fun, especially if you sign up for a shore lunch. Eureka Springs, AR is one of a kind as well as Hot Springs. In Walnut Ridge, AR is a fun little monument for when the Beatles stopped there in the 60's. There's a diorama in town with histories of the other musicians associated with that area from Carl Perkins to Elvis to Johnny Cash and others.
