Unless you already have a bunch of wood seasoned and ready to sell, you will have a job long before you make a single dime on wood. You will just be one of those green/junk wood sellers if you start cutting now and expect to sell this winter.
Also if you're collecting unemployment insurance, don't let them catch you "working" or they will cut you off and make you return everything you've received so far.
I don't know what it is about the Dept. of Labor, but they seem to come down hard on the people that actually WANT to work, and are ACTIVELY looking for jobs. They don't bother the lazy people, and keep extending their benefits.
