I've been through that dilemma myself recently. Retired my old Sanyo 3810 (indestructible) and bought a Kyocera Torque. Tough little phone but I hate a smart phone. It will do everything except make a phone call. Seriously, making calls on a smart phone is more difficult and more time consuming than on a flip phone. I have really been tempted to pull the old flip phone out of the drawer and go back to it. I have about 6 numbers that I call frequently, speed dial is harder on a smart phone and voice dial works about 40% of the time and you still have to swipe it to make the call. If you get a smart phone plan on spending a lot of frustrating hours learning how to use it.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
