: I have a 1952 Case Tractor and it stuck in first gear. : I don't want to take it all apart if there is a trick or easy way : way to fix it. If you or anyone has an idea it : would be great. Thanks. I don't really know Cases, but this has happened to my Farmalls from time to time...shift fingers get worn and if you shift too fast it tends to miss its allignment. On the old Farmalls, you just remove the shift lever swivel pin and remove the shifter. When you look into the exposed opening, you see three shift block the look like square U. These three blocks (the Farmalls have 5 forward, 1 reverse transmission) should all be lined up to 'equal' neutral. If they are not, simply pop them back in line with a heavy screw driver or whatnot. Works on Farmalls, don't know, but hope it works on Cases. Good Luck, Woody
