It's awesome. I looked for years to find some plans to build one of Sears round barns that they used to offer. I never did find any. There is ONE standing in the state of Kansas. My goal is to go see it and build a barn back on the farm. Like the article says, we have realized that a good shelter belt or three sided building will do just fine for cattle. I have only machine sheds here since the original barn blew down in the 90's. I use one to feed out of, but it would be nice to feed out of a barn and I could reclaim the lost machinery space due to feed wagons and bales. It would also be nice to have a building without a concrete floor. All of the big buildings are concrete floors and I wish I had some dirt.
