: It is my understanding that the F-14 was made to run on kerosene, but made to start on gas. The F-14 that is in my family only has one tank and it runs on gas. I am interested in seeing pictures of the second tank that would bolt to the hood. I would also be interested in purchasing the tank and maybe some other parts. If anyone knows of a place to find F14 parts please let me know. Thanks in advance I have a 1938 F-14 that I'm about done rebuilding. My understanding is that two models were available, a straight gas unit and a "distillate" or kerosene unit. Mine is a distillate tractor and has a hole in the hood above the valve cover just to the rear of the radiator for a small tank for starting on gasoline. The combination tank mentioned in other posts was, I believe, for F-12's. I, too, am looking for an original tank. So far, all I have receive is knowing smiles, and "Lots of Luck" type statements, leading me to believe they are quite rare, and consequently, very expensive. I have an original F12 owner's manual and a reproduction F14 owner's manual, and would be willing to scan and email the appropriate drawings on the fuel system from that as well. I do have a couple of barely adequate pictures of the tank, and I'll probably wind up making one eventually. As for other parts for F-14's, I've stripped my parts tractor of everything I want, and the remaining parts are listed at my website, www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Garage/6604 If you see anything you need, email me.
