First you have to learn when selling stuff that there are people, some good people, who love to feel like they got a deal. So the contact a seller and lowball the price to see if there is any wiggle room. Good friend of mine is like that. If you won't budge on a price he won't buy. But if he thinks he's getting a deal he pays right now in cash.
No I'm with the others here and I've surprised that you had anyone contact you at all. 600 bucks for a non running baler missing parts like the ENGINE????? Unless you are going to part it out it's scrap value. That's something you ask 250 and take 200 in a heart beat and you don't turn down scrap price. You say you have 50 or less into it. So anything over 50 is profit.
If I had seen your ad I may have emailed or called and ask if you would hold a gun and wear a mask when I looked at it so if I decided to buy I could feel right about it. Would rather think I was robbed that to think I was stupid!
And I'm not being mean here or trying to pick on you. I was under the impression that you are a pretty decent young man. But I think the greed monster bit you. Either that or I was wrong about you.
