John, great to hear about yours, we had those until '85 or so, we did 3-4000 bales per year, did one large field (custom) for a neighbor adjacent to us. 3 Lamco wagons is all we had. Both pieces went well for the most part, the thrower was problematic and was removed and set in the same spot until it was scrapped. Years later we used a '64 4000 with that hay equipment.
When I was a kid, we set up a display, tractors, and hay tools, at one of the oldest and well known fairs locally, I still have the giant canvas banner, ford logo and our dealer name/location. I have not as of yet, inquired about any photos that may have been taken, there is a family that has been involved with that fair, it would be really cool to see a photo of that display as I remember it. We did receive a plaque for hay equipment merchandising from Ford operations in '72, I still have that as well.

After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
