I knew them quite well. I also know Jim & Sue. Jim has done work for me.
The local show was started I believe in the '80's by the Jaycee women, later known as "Women of Today". They did it annually for maybe 10 years or so, then stopped doing it. In 2006 the town celebrated its 150 year anniversary, so a group of folks brought it back. Since then it has been done in 2009, 2011, and 2013.
