The southerners that worked in the Detroit auto plants did, the hillbillies that populated Chicago did, That is the way it has always been. How did southern blacks get to Wisconsin?....jobs. California was full of newcomers looking for jobs 100 years ago. The Italians and Poles in the Kentucky coal mines did. The Swedes and Finns in the Minnesota iron mines did.
I don't have much sympathy for folks that are so rooted to a spot that they think the job has to come to them.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
