Ditto on the Perkins engines but MF QC and customer support has gone to h*ll in a hand basket.
I have a 2007 MF 533 (Perkins) with 450 hours and a 2012 MF 2635 (Simpson: Perkins design but built under liscense in India) with 80 hours. No engine problems with either but QC problems with both tractors, which have not been properly addressed by AGCO and have cost me money.
I also have a 1994 Kubota that has had absolutely no isseus of any kind in the 20+ years that I have owned it. Nothing. Not so much as a fuse, lamp bulb or fan belt. Nothing aside from regular lube oil and filter changes.,
Both MFs are on the list to be replaced with Kubotas within the next several months.
