I have a 1959 Ford Select-o-Speed that has never failed untill now. The tractor ran when it was parked then a few minutes later I went to go and the tractor started but would not move. I thought that the fluid was low in the trans or the trans. filter was dirty, so I cosulted the local Ford dealer and thus I replaced the old filter and put in new trans. fluid. However the tractor will still not move. Prior to changing the fluid, the tractor would move if you reved up the motor past 8 thousand rpm (past the PTO setting) but then it would only move slow. This is why I thought it was a filter. But now what? Does anyone know about the symptoms of the Select-o-speed and how to fix them? PLEASE HELP ! Thank you , Bob
