I sure wouldn't or couldn't do this today but when we were kids the dog kept bring home one of the neighbors chickens. After about five chickens, My brother and I took one and strapped it to the dogs neck. We also hooked it to the electric fence. Ten minutes later the dog new enough not to touch a chicken again and he didn't.
