I have found Craigslist to work well. I usually never have an issue contacting 80% of the people. The other 20% are a PAIN so I just forget them and move on.
For your little imported truck there are several nation wide dealers that have them reasonable. I see them selling locally for more money than the dealers sell good ones for. Just Google them and you should find them.
I looked into one 4-5 years ago. A neighbor bought one. I went and drove it. The darn things are just too small in the cab for me to fit comfortably. I really liked the idea of 4wd, a cab and a small pickup bed. I just wish they made them a little bigger.
I bought a well used Ranger 4wd pickup. It was a total rust bucket but ran well. I used it for several years and them the one nephew wanted it. So I sold it to him. He still does chores with it.
