Yeah but at least that fits in your garage. Never fooled with one of those newer ones, 88 and up, but it did last a long time if that was the original, so I guess them fancy engineers did ok. I too liked the NP 205 and others similar with gears, when I first saw those '88 models on the lot, and then on the lift at the GMC dealer next to the lumber yard where I worked, and what changed, like a lever to vacuum to engage etc. I lived in the past, with the '73-87 series trucks, sure they rode hard, but the bodies would rust off before the drive train failed, I used to line up and push over 4" birch and poplar trees with my '80 using the snow plow frame, amazing what they put up with.
