Here is parts diagram. The small pin others have suggested may be broken is #27. Remove all parts on top of PTO unit, remove plug #15 found on underside of PTO unit and remove all parts referenced in #21. If pin #27 is broken, shaft # 26 may come out the top, but when you install the new pin, shaft #26 will be connected to #25 as a unit to all those parts seen below it and it must be installed from the underside. I once used a needle bearing from U-joint cross and bearing set for the pin . It was same diameter but needed to shorten it a little with a grinder. Worked perfectly and saved a trip to dealer for the part. Still working many years latter.
