I saw down below where folks were talking about all the snow they were dealing with. Well here in Northern Virginia we were predicted to get a dusting close in to DC and out north and west they were supposed to get 2-3 inches first snow of the season. Then I see the highway department putting down the liquid pre-treatment; Uh-oh says I they know something the Media isn't telling us so I prepared. We got 3-4 inches and everything stopped. Normal around here. Took me a couple of years when I first got here to realize Washington DC is really a southern town and they are so full of themselves that God is supposed to clear the road in front of them so they can speed into work. All the stop lights and signs are either at the bottom of the hills or in the middle. Oh well I'll move further south when the wife retires.
