so, I have been working on one of my JD 336 balers: I pulled the fly wheel, then gear box and had the main drive shaft straightened. It had a slight bend in it. I bent one alot worse several years ago so this is to prevent such a major problem. Other thing was replace a seized bearing under the plunger head. I am also replacing the main drive chain. Last thing, re-time everything. Obviously, my work shop is outside.
