This is my dad and younger brother harvesting the wheat close by our house in July of 1976. My older brother and I spent many an hour riding with Dad on that old combine. I wouldn't trade if for the world now. We would always reach back into the hopper under the auger and get a pinch of the wheat and put it between our teeth to see if it was dry or not. Ate a lot of it too...
