Here in La Jolla Ca. This is very high rent district, along the Calif. coast. Part of San Diego now. Back in 1931 the city built a wall into the ocean and created what is called the children's pool. this area was enjoyed for many years until the seals moved in a few years ago. The tree hugger group fought the city enough to let the seals stay there. If anyone disturbed the seals there was a hefty fine. Now there are so many seals crapping all over the rocks. Along with seals comes the birds doing the same thing. The stink is so bad Hotels are losing customers, stores also losing money. Food service industries also losing money. Now the city is hiring a animal expert to try to convince the seals to leave. I think a person with a rifle could do the same thing in a few hours. This could only happen in California. Stan
