John,
Only about 1/4 of the community collges in the US still have any meaningful vocational programs. In general, your talking grade 13 and 14 for people who cannot get into a real college. As for all the jobless and the hamburger flippers with 4 year degrees, they are mostly victims of poor choices, their own, they took no-where courses to obtain no-where degrees and made mediocre grades, at best. You won't find many unemployed computer engineering or biochemist grads with 3.5-4.0 GPA's, or any other top students in the hard sciences and medicine. You are certainly correcct that not everyone should go to college, probably half the people who go realize no real benefit, either because they are too dumb to gain anything from higher education or too lazy to to take advantage of the opportunity. Tax payers should not be paying for anyone to attend college except veterans and the children of veterans KIA.

I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
