There is one guy around here that specifically states in his ads NO lo ballers, No tire kickers and cash only. I dont blame you or him. One little trick Ive learned to watch out for if you're selling something is what is called hen penning. He'll throw you a ridiculously low bid on something wether machines, cars or timber, etc then walk away and hesitate then come back and offere you a little more, then walk away again adn com back with his finally offer. Which then you thinking you got him up that high that you'd better take it. But is really still way low. Another version is he will leave then have a buddy pretending not to know him make you a low ball offer. You'll get this 2-3 times maybe more depending on what it is and some will be other honest customers but then if you havent caved by then and sold it , he'll offer you some more . Dont be afraid to walk away and say no to a buy or sell!I lost a lot on a couple year old bobcat once to that so i love to warn every body. I had to move some years ago and had to get rid or thought i did of some machinery i had. I trusted and still trusted the buyers as he's a long time friend and he's a jockey. But just recently and i know part of it is the times i saw my old fertilizer spreader going for hundreds more than i sold it for and it sold i believe!! lol I Hate trying to negociate deals on stuff and prefer to just pay a flat rate and be done with it but thats not how most of this world worlds, lol Good luck andkeep you head up. Some you'll win and some you'll lose. just dont dry over spilled milk lose any sleep over it!In the end we are all 6' down and 3 feet across and we cant take it with us. lol=)

Today's Featured Article - Show Coverage: Journey to Ankeny - by Cindy Ladage. We left Illinois on the first day of July and headed north and west for Ankeny, Iowa. Minus two kids, we traveled light with only the youngest in tow. As long as a pool was at the end of our destination she was easy to please unlike the other two who have a multitude of requirements to travel with mom and dad. Amana Colonies served as a respite where we ate a family style lunch that sustained us with more food than could reasonably fit into our ample physiques. The show at Ankeny ... [Read Article]
