Here's another lesson for all on here I learned the hard way ! LOL
When someone does list a price and put OBO I guess we universally all assume it means or best offer of a lower amount they will take.
Not so ! I had one fellow he said OBO but when I showed up with the truck, trailer and cash in hand of his asking price and proceeded to tell him I'd take it I have the cash lets load it up ! He told me WAIT A MINUTE ! I meant best offer over. I said then how much would it take right here right now to load it up. He hemmed hawed around and would not give me a price. He wanted to play phone tag and get offers over his asking price. Well I went home and then played his game upping my offer a few times and told him in no uncertain terms I helped him get more for his machine and I was DONE with this game ! I also told him if he wanted to run an auction to say so right from the start !!
So you never really know what you will run into out there.
