In Illinois we have fence laws. My neighbor just got aressted for livestock running at large. He got out on $30000 bond but is looking at 3-5 years in prison. USDA showed up at his place while he was in jail and hauled his livestock to sale barn and sold them. This has been going on for 20 yrs cows and pigs out on road and fields daily, some other neighbors have been shooting his pigs in their fields cause he won't fix his fences, he's been arrested several times for this, county police finally had enough and hauled him off and USDA hauled off livestock, sherrif said he'll never own a animal again in his life
