I'd be interested in seeing more on the Universals. We've been eyeing them lately, but so far haven't found the right one at the right price at the right time. We are up by the quad cities, not looking for a huge project, but if they aren't too far gone we'd be interested. Condition is everything, if they are missing parts, or have severely damaged parts, then it will make a big difference. Stuck, not stuck? Since I am interested in buying, I don't want to go throwing out prices; but there is a lot of auction history on these. Vanderbrinks, Nixon, Aumann have all sold them in the past few years.
And I'll call BS on 100k for a moline universal, even an early model B. Throwing those kind of prices out just makes it harder on everyone to make a fair deal. You may have confused one of the many other "Universals", I could see one of the "Universals" that were sold out to Rumely for the Gaspull could bring that for instance, which is a totally different beast.

The advice is timeless... so although it isn't necessarily antique tractor related, it will be prominently displayed in our archives to honor those who have the courage to ask and those who have the courage to respond in an honest, positive manner.
