I've had "classic" migraines for 30+ years. Always a visual aura occurs about 15-20 mins prior. A squiggly vibrating blurry line sorta like looking at a mirror with a big crack across it. The best aid is Excedrin Migraine, it has Tylenol aspirin and caffeine. Won't stop it but will dull it. The worst ones made me puke and sit in the dark. As I age they get fewer and weaker. One trigger I have is black licorice and I love it. But I can't really pin them to any one thing or life event.
