Had mine done about seven years ago at Mayo Clinic and could have walked out of the hospital on my own if I needed to. One was done about six months before the other.Their are two things that they are very careful about and that is infection and blood clots. Both bad news but I can walk all day long today with no pain. They hurt so bad before that the physical therapy was a piece of cake. Good luck and we will be thinking of you. Let us know how you do.
