Oldtanker. my Mother (86) had both knees replaced last year, about 3 months apart + a shoulder replacement 4 months before that..
The therapy to regain range of motion IS the real deal and is painful but she said from the time she woke up from each surgery how much less joint pain she had..
About 3 weeks before you should be outside walking with a cane for a knee. One lady square dances & round dances with us had a knee replaced and round danced at the end of 2 weeks.
KEEP the Ice bag on and leg elevated( mix 1/2 Cup rubbing alcohol with water( Double zip-locked bags) and then will only Freeze to a slush..
