In 1991 I was installing a ceramic floor. The floor kept squeaking. I discovered it wasn't the floor, but my knees were making the sound, bone on bone.
While at the Dr, I read an article about Glucosamine and Chondroitin Sulfate which I've been taking every day. Some say it does no good for relieving pain, which may be true. I only had knee pain when I was kneeling. Today, I can kneel on concrete, no pain, no grinding bone on bone.
My over weight 4 year older brother had his knee replaced when he was my age. Again some studies say it doesn't work. I living proof it does. I will take it till the day I die.
Below is a little clip I found.
About 27 million Americans suffer from osteoarthritis, an often painful condition in which the cushioning cartilage between bones wears away. Many people are trying new therapies and dietary supplements such as glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate in their search for relief.
Glucosamine is found naturally in the body. It stimulates the formation and repair of articular cartilage. Over-the-counter supplements come from animal sources. Chondroitin sulfate is another natural substance found in the body. It prevents other body enzymes from degrading the building blocks of joint cartilage. The type sold in health-food stores and pharmacies is derived from animal products.

It increased the farm productivity and, in general, made life easier because more work could be done with this 'mechanical beast'. My dad dreamed that some day he would have his own tractor with every implement he could get. When he rea
